  • Decreases kapha.
  • Combination of asparagus and milk cures raktta pitta doshas.
  • It cleanses kidneys and liver.
  • It is good for bowels and eyes.
  • The seeds acts as antibacterial, Anti-inflammatory; Antipyretic and diuretic.
    It effects nervous system [nervine].
  • Increases milk production in mother.
  • It is Antitussive; Diuretic; Expectorant; Infertility; Sialagogue; Stomachic; refrigerant, galactagogue, aphrodisiac and nutritive tonic increases blood production.
  • It improves sperm.
  • It gives strength.
  • With some combinations it also used for cancer.
